PYE OF THE MONTH: MOUSSAKA (No Pastry - No Gluten)
Our interpretation of a Moussaka. Potatoes & egg plant coated in olive oil & sea salt oven roasted. This is added to Five-Dot Grass Fed Beef - seasoned with tomato paste, ginger, cinnamon, oregano, parsley. The filling is topped with a Béchamel Sauce. Our sauce is gluten free, using corn starch, butter, milk, nutmeg, Colman’s mustard and Belgioioso Parmesan Cheese. Together with our other non-pastry pies; Shepherds (lamb) and Veg “Shepherds” (dairy free) are our gluten free options.
